We had a fantastic stay! It was so helpful to have utensils to cook meals. The staff was always so friendly and helpful, especially Chey/Shy who first welcomed us to the gulf. The beach was so close, no driving needed for the beach hangs during our stay. So much to do with so much walkability. Truly loved our stay!!

The personal beach behind the hotel and the amenities was great. Also, you have the live music next door for most nights which is a plus without paying high dollar for a resort. Also, every desk person was very polite, patient, and always smiling. That also shows the hotel takes care of their employees too. I would definitely come back to this hotel.

The location was great. Not very far from Pier 60 but far enough for a little more privacy. The private beach and pool/hot tub was where we spent most of our time. The room was clean and beds very comfortable with a great view from the balcony.

This is my second visit to Gulf View and I plan on returning asap! This place has everything you need, and it's right on the beach at a budget friendly price! Such a beautiful location, beds are comfortable, staff is very friendly and helpful.

Yes the property is a bit old but for its worth it is a well maintained property and employees are very helpful to your needs, also can't forget the option of using there pool or the private beach and ocean just steps away from the back end of the hotel , bonus for my family. The hotels is a small charming property thats perfect for a beach trip. If your looking for luxury go futher down the strip. If you want a affordable pretty clean but older hotel with ots own beach that has a mini kitchen that you can cook meals in then this is your place.

Small hotel with private beach. Room was bigger than I expected. Check in was easy. The beds were comfy. Room was clean and seemed maintained. The kitchenette in our room needed some updating, we didn't use it, so no big deal. It was nice having a beach to wonder onto without a bunch of people crowding it. The trolley stop is outside the hotel, so if you want to take the trolley, this is easy transportation option. The only issue I had was the lobby smelled a little musty when we checked in, but was fine later. I would stay again.
