1. We did not get the upgraded villa we reserved and paid for, because "none were available". No compensation.
2. There was no hot water for 2 of our 5 days, due to maintenance on another unit.
3. Paying for parking on-line was a hassle and getting help was challenging because "it's a new system. "
4. The gift shop doesn't open until 3pm??

"Hollander hotel is a beautifully renovated facility. They maintained much of the original structure (floors, doors, furniture, etc); while upgrading windows and a/c to keep up with Florida temps. On the premises there is a restaurant and coffee area so you do not have to look any further for meals if you do not desire to.
The pool is small and only 4' deep but is great to cool off and relax after a day of exploring. The walk to St Pete Pier is only about 1/2 mile away and the walk has wonderful...

"The rooms were very clean and beautifully laid out. Very comfortable. My only complaint was the additional parking fee which was not explained at check-in. When I received my bill at check-out there was an additional fee which was unexpected. Over all a very nice hotel in a great location."
