Location is the saving grace

Overall a good stay, the location and the pool were the best aspects of the stay you were feet from the beach, But the unit we stayed in on the second floor was dated, appliances were dated, fridge door had rust inside. Plates, pots, cups and utensils look like they came from the 70s and were dirty so we had to wash all of them over again, bed was ok. Whoever cleans I would give them a 5 out of 10. WIFI is horrible.

Nice location but needs some improvement

Unknown additional fees were tacked onto the bill and was told, "You will not get the code to get your key unless you pay them." I was expecting to pay 80.00 and was charged a little over 150.00. After that, the office personnel were more friendly after I guess they realized they were not displaying a proper tone. They did end up refunding me a portion of the extra charges. Rooms were relatively clean until you saw crumbs and garbage under furniture and in the corners. If people are paying this extra cleaning fee one expects the place to be clean thru and thru. Beds need updating, hard as a rock (Unit 8). Pool needs regular cleaning.

Quiet. Very close to beach. No made service unless you request but nice unit. Shower very small. Could be up dated but works just fine for a full refrigerator and stove in room.

Super spacious Penthouse. Everything you need is there even beach chairs n other special things. You do need a blow dryer. This place is super clean great view multiple decks to layout or watch the sunset. Loved the shuffle board in the evening. Great value Great Location!

Overpriced

Location on the beach is perfect; however that is about the only positive thing. It is very overpriced for what it offers. We have stayed many times at Grand Shores West two facilities north, and we pay less there for a week in a one bedroom with balcony overlooking the pool, beach and the gulf than what we paid at Redington Surf Resort for 3 night in an efficiency off the parking lot. The rate was $175 per night; however with taxes, fees etc. it came to $245 per night. The grills listed on the site is a joke. Broken, filthy and not useable. They list free parking, but charge $10 per night for pool access and parking.

Had to pay a large fee for cleaning and for??? Who knows what. That is partly Expedia’s fault where Expedia should of had that in writing somewhere as to how much it was going to be. The fee was 175 Canadian which is much too much for nothing no cleaning services or anything. Poll was good but one day was completely not useable because they decided to shock it in the morning. Very dumb. Room was awful. Outdated smelly moldy, sticky floors, cracked tiles and very over priced. Not worth it. Location was great otherwise nothing nice.

Absolutely recommend! Such a great low key place. Loved it. Hot water and sugar ants were a problem but nothing that would keep from returning. Views are great. In walking distance from cool little bars.

Might Want to Think Twice

I would not recommend it. There were additional charges of $141 when we arrived at the hotel that we were not planning on which we were unhappy with. The room was fine but outdated and there was no sound on the TV the first day until they got someone to fix it on the second date. They did have wifi but it was slow. Also, the pool area was in the parking lot, very stark and not appealing, but the pool itself was heated and nice. Most places we have stayed in Florida have lush greenery and flowering plants all over - there was very little of that. There is no elevator and if you are carrying a lot of groceries upstairs, it is a pain. If you will be carting a lot of things, you should ask for a ground floor room.
