My last bucket list item

Couldn’t find the hotel for 2 hours due to black out. Didn’t know that there was no elevator and I am disabled with oxygen dependency, could barely lug my things up the stairs without the oxygen. Thank goodness a fellow vacationer saw my difficulties and helped me. Told it was best not to go to the beach because of turtle season. I was very sad, this was probably my last trip to the beach and my room was so far I couldn’t see or hear it

Enjoyed our 2 week stay there. Clean and friendly staff, we were a couple of the last people to stay there sadly they are tearing it down to put up a pricey 5 story condo. Soon there won't be any of us average working class people won't be able to enjoy the Gulf thanks to the rich owners who need more money 🤑. Sad.

We liked the ambiance of this older hotel. So much nicer than the huge name brand chains. Sad to hear the property was being closed and torn down but glad we had the opportunity to stay here.

The hotel itself was nice. The beach is close by which is convenient and the pool is nice. It is a little outdated and the furniture was loose like the closet and drawers. The faucet in the tub was also loose. We also had an issue with the wifi. The signal wasnt strong enough yo get to our room. Overall it was okay and the location was nice. Just some outdated features.

Great location & clean hotel!

Weekend getaway for our anniversary. Pros-everything was really clean, location is seriously local to EVERYTHING, we rode our bikes pretty much everywhere. Pool and tiki bar area well kept and clean. Room was remodeled but only exception was the bathroom, that desperately needs some TLC. This hotel was built in the 60s or 70s, you can tell, so give it some grace. Cons-bed was rock hard, very limited parking for vehicle if you arrive late at night. We still had a wonderful time in Treasure Island and will definitely be back!

Nice weekend

Last weekend I visited Saint Petersburg for a weekend. The service was amazing and the place was cleaned. When I got to the office John went out of his way to make accommodations for my disable son. I will come back and recommend others to visit Treasure Island Ocean Club

Beach day

Me and a friend stayed there for just a quick day trip. The room was bigger than we thought. The bedroom door did not close, they did not have a remote for tv in room. When asked for one, the desk said could not get one till next day. We were checking out by then. All in all it was a good place.

Our stay was great! We enjoyed the location. It was close to everything. Not being bothered by staff or housekeeping was nice. It also gave us a piece of mind knowing someone wasnt in and out of.our room everyday. You set your trash and dirty linens out in the morning and get new linens and bags from the office if you need them. This was one of the best vacations our family has taken in a long time.

We came earlier and had to wait this room to be cleaned. But it was not cleaned! Dirty bathroom was disgusting! Spider webs, dusts. What did they clean?! A good point- we stayed only one night!!!! And rushed out from this place!

Hotel staff were extremely nice and friendly. The room was adequate. Not the best and not the worst. Only problem I really had was the staircase leading to the second floor. In my opinion it’s dangerous. The hand rails are made for a toddler to use I think because a normal adult couldn’t reach for them. It wouldn’t be so bad if the staircase went straight down but it was a winding staircase. Makes it very difficult to bring suitcases up or down. Pool was nice but closes at dark. No evening swimming. Overall it was ‘nice’ but still found a couple things that could be updated.

Disappointed but did not expect much after reading other reviews. Stayed because of pet option, price and location. Bolt to door did not lock, old carpet, and room is in extreme need of renovation. A/c and bed were ok for one night stay but prepare yourself for very poor conditions.

The beds were terrible they had carpet that was definitely not been cleaned in a long time the pool was nice right outside our room. Very hard to find parking. We arrived a few hours early and the front desk attendent said we couldnt even park in the parking lot till 2pm . Nery annoying. The room was large atleast and the kitchennette could have came with a toaster or something.

Everything we needed.

It was a quick trip and had everything we needed. Clean sheets clean room Egyptian towels. For the price I thought it was a good value. The ladies Working the front desk the first day we are great and friendly however the second day not too much.

Disgusting hotel

This hotel is run down, mold in bathroom, old scary stairs, railing is cracked all around, you can’t shine crap! Bed was like a box of rocks I highly recommend this place should be torn down, where is hotel impossible to help renovate if even possible! I feel bad for staff that works in this hell hole! Will never return & will tell everyone who asks me to never get room there

The pictures and the exterior landscaping are very inviting. However, the second floor rooms and the balcony were in need of serious maintenance. Our bathroom had an odor and the tub was in bad condition. The pool seemed in good shape but we could not use it due to an intense thunderstorm. The beach access was very nice as was the beach itself. That was beautiful. The staff were very nice and professional.
