Bigger / clearer signage outside, not easy to see when driving, more choice for continental breakfast, otherwise all other food was outstanding, staff very friendly and obliging, ample parking.

The staff were always helpful and friendly, we felt very well looked after. Loved the decor in our room and a bonus to have a balcony overlooking the sea.

Really friendly staff - couldn’t have been more helpful. The only slight issue was the walls were very thin - the chap next door was a solid snoorer! But otherwise good.

Comfortable, clean well equipped room that was in good decorative order. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good with different hot food options available and freshly prepared to order. The hotel is opposite the beach, so nice for a walk in the morning. My only complaint is s that the walls are thin and I was disturbed by noise from other guests

Just had a wonderful seven day break at driftwood inn Guernsey the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent The whole hotel was very clean The room was airy clean and kept clean on a daily basis and we had a wonderful Seaview definitely recommend and definitely going to book a again

Lovely outlook and very comfortable with all amenities, although on quite a busy road so if you’re a light sleeper book a non sea facing room. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel on a great bus route, near a Morrisons and garage - lovely swimming right in front of the hotel. We had a lovely 4 night stay

Breakfast was feshly cooked on demand, service was good and dining room was nicely decorated and spacious with good views of the bay. Staff very friendly and attentive. Art work throughout the hotel was admirable.

Very helpful , moved our booking too when Condor Ferry cancelled the boat. Great base for cycling and walking around the island. Inn had a room to keep our bikes inside over night . Staff were amazing and went over and above to help. Drifters restaurant ,with the sunset views over the bay offered a wide choice of excellent food. We will be back.

The husband and wife who run this Inn are extremely friendly, helpful and hardworking. The accommodation was spotless and breakfast lovely. They go the extra mile to make everyone feel at home. Would not hesitate in recommending as a great place to stay in Guernsey.

The food in both the bar and the restaurant was top class with plenty of choice. The quality rivalled any of the more expensive restaurants on the island. There is also a very comfortable residents' lounge which we used in the evenings. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful. We wouldn't stay anywhere else.

The Driftwood Inn is in a nice location away from the hustle and bustle of the main town and port. There is a great bus service taking you around the island either clockwise, anticlockwise or through the middle therefore enabling you to visit those museums and other attractions within a reasonable time. The Inn is somewhat dated although comfortable; servicing of rooms includes a quick clean, not vacuum, replacement toiletries and coffee/tea but no clean towels or bedding. Staffing during the day is kept to a bare minimum, usually just the owner so if you want a drink from the bar you need to send out a search party... Breakfast: continental breakfast consists of 3 types of cereal, bread for toasting, 2 types of fruit juice and some mixed fruit and yoghurt. Cooked breakfast was the normal full English and variations of, smoked haddock, French toast and vegetarian option - all of which were cooked to a high degree of acceptance. The staff at meal times were very professional, cheery and helpful. Would I go back? Probably not but then again I wouldn't bother going back to Guernsey as I had seen what I wanted - the Occupational history - nothing else would entice me.

Great location overlooking bay, set back from road, although we had a room at the rear of the property. Plenty of parking but area around the hotel generally needed tidied up. Needed a lit sign to make it easier to find at night. Liked the nautical vibe throughout the hotel especially in the breakfast/lunch/dining room which has great views out to sea. If you didn't want the cooked breakfast the continental breakfast was a bit limited. Room clean and bed very comfortable but felt choice of blinds didn't keep out the light in the morning or the heat during the day. Sound did travel between adjoining rooms. Staff all very helpful and pleasant, and we enjoyed our stay and would consider using again when we return to Guernsey, which we hope to do soon.
