"The food is excellent. Breakfast menu is great and had 3 course meal in restaurant which was excellent. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Only criticism is the changing rooms floor could be cleaner and the windows in the pool area. But really is an excellent hotel and will likely be retuning next year."

"We recently stayed at The Monterey Hotel and had a very enjoyable stay. The staff were excellent throughout our visit, always friendly, welcoming, and happy to help. Their professionalism and positive attitude really enhanced our experience. Breakfast was very good, with a wide selection of both Full English and continental options. There was plenty of choice for everyone in our family, and everything was fresh and well presented. A particular highlight for our family of four was the swimming pool. It was clean, well maintained, and a great place to relax after a day exploring Jersey. We also appreciated that it remained open until 9:00 pm, allowing us to make full use of the facilities in the evenings. The rooms are not the most modern, but they are well maintained, comfortable, and spotlessly clean, which is ultimately what matters most for a pleasant stay. Parking is somewhat limited, but this wasn't an issue for us as we didn't need to use it. The location is convenient, being around a 10-minute walk from Liberation Bus Station, making it easy to explore the island. Alternatively, there is a bus stop directly outside the hotel, providing a very convenient transport option. Overall, The Monterey Hotel offers excellent service, good breakfast choices, clean and comfortable rooms, great family-friendly facilities, and a convenient location. We would happily stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Jersey. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

"I went back here for an organised meal. Single room, overnight, with breakfast was small, but I had a good night sleep as it was only booked to avoid an extortionate taxi fare home. The set meal was great, the staff really plesant and attentive. The only downside was two of my courses came late. When it did come I was very happy ."
