"The breakfast was not great. The grits were soupy, empty sauage hot plate and only served pork. Turkey would have been an option, coffee and varieties of tea were good. Overall the breakfast was fair."

"First of all the staff at this location are top notch! Everyone from the front desk to the maintenance to the breakfast staff. Bravo! The rooms are cozy, cool and relaxing. The amenities are well maintained and there are plenty of them if you want to use the. The sitting areas are comfortable and well maintained. The breakfast is very good and the staff is on it to keep it clean and things refilled. Overall for an older building this is an excellent choice when in Charleston. Its well located...

The pool closed at 10 p.m. according to the signage but was told to get out of the pool at 8:30 p.m. My husband was waiting for with my son in the lobby and was told to get out because the staff were eating in the lobby."
