The pool, beach and restaurant with bar was nice. Service in the restaurant was slow but food was good and waiter Rafi was very pleasant! I would stay again. Beds could be more comfortable.

The place was quiet and nice, the pool area is beautiful. The property sits right on the beach with great activities. The rooms are clean, spacious, nothing too fancy, but still nice. I would recommend staying again. Staff was helpful, restaurant food was good. Taxis available if needed, parking also available for your rental. Thanks Carla C.

I loved being on the beach side, but the property needs some serious cleanup all around overgrown bushes, beach should be raked to pick up old leaves that fell, some rooms have no view of the water because of overgrown trees. But the water was beautiful.

So nice being right on the beach. We didn’t mind being by the airport at all, the noise wasn’t bad and we kinda liked watching the planes. We even walked from airport to the hotel and it was a very easy walk. Third floor room was perfect to sit out and see the view. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful, especially with getting taxis.

Was in town with the family for 6 nights. The staff is wonderful. Everyone was so nice to us, everyone from the office workers to the restaurant staff at Caribbean Fussion. Special shout out to our guy Lincoln. Served us many nights. Wonderful memories at a wonderful place.

The staff is the shining star of Emerald Resort. The resort is in need of updating, it has a great location and all the rooms face the beach but it is rundown. Which gives off as not being clean. At breakfast one of my travel companions' breakfast came with butter packets and one of the butter packets had already been used. Plus the sugar bowl had empty packets in it and the jelly packets had food smeared on the bottom which says they reuse them for other guests.

If your idea of a vacation includes being awake all night, this is the place for you. A rooster perched right outside my window started crowing at 12:30 AM and didn’t stop until 5:00 AM. I got maybe 2 hours of sleep. This is not “local charm”—it’s completely unacceptable. At 4:00 AM I went to the front desk asking for another room. Esther told me nothing was available. That was false. I saw multiple empty rooms myself, and the next morning overheard the manager (Marsha) confirming they were in fact available. They will all cover for each other and lie. Can you imagine they’re getting paid to stay up all night but you’re not ! How hard would it have been to move us to another room? Esther‘sresponse was someone needs to call animal control. How about you? Do your job and care about your customers needs. Security (Frankie) refused to help at all, offering excuses instead of doing anything useful—even though the problem was right outside my room. I told him the rooster was right in the tree and he said I can’t step on the beach. We don’t own it.. Their solution? A $50 credit on a $200+ stay and about the same in food and drinks. Knowing I didn’t sleep. A joke. The manager could care less at this facility if you sleep at all. So to summarize: no sleep, dishonest staff, and zero accountability. Plenty of better places to stay—choose one of those. They clearly do not care about their customers… Do better..

Right next to the beach, clean rooms, close to the airport, planes don’t run at night so that didn’t bother us any. I’d deffinetly stay here again!

Great place to stay at end of trip however I couldn’t check in until after 5:30 I think because if a wedding. This ruined my evening as I was by myself . I got there at 3 and they said 4 at the latest - anywho I just needed sleep after being with family all week. The room was old but clean and I lived lived lived m view

The resort is dated but my understanding is there are new owners and improvements are in the future. I would suggest anyone steer clear of building 2. Most beach views are hidden be trees full of roosters who crow at all hours. Very disturbing. Service is slow in all areas of this resort. Once out of the room. The beach is beautiful. There is currently a green eyesore docked out in the water and it is also very close to the airport so there are planes flying over head. All in all, it did what we needed it to do for this trip but will not return to this resort if we are looking for peace and quiet.

I wont stay here again. This is not a 4 or 5 star resort. Its 3 AT BEST. This Restaurant service IS HORRIBLE. The servers are HORRIBLE. We ate there 3 times because its the only restaurant or option unless you pay for a cab. Nothing else in walking distance. Every time the service was horrible. Took for ever. They messed up the check 2 times. The Pool is ok. The rooms are ok. The grounds are ok. The only thing that is above average is the beach in certain areas but its very crowded. I would not recommend or stay here again.
