"Everything was outstanding - staff was super nice and helpful. Only coffee at the breakfast but it was good, and the gym was really excellent. It's right on Pioneer Square so that's... interesting, but we had a GREAT view."

"Terribly cramped room with even smaller beds. The bathroom was basically a closet except a closet can actually fit things unlike this scam of a room. Don’t even bother paying for the “breakfast”. Zero options. It tasted so stale that it was probably reused everyday. Getting something from a nearby cafe is much better option. The parking was super overpriced too. The only good thing about this place was the furnishing but even those were dusty. There’s a reason there’s basically no people here, so only stay here if you want to stay for a night with no sleep. Anything more will make your wallet cry like mine did. No amount of kind staff could make up for this tragedy."

"VIBE: Everything was just less than sparkling. Felt like an old Motel 6. Toilets did not flush well, there was a sort of indiscernible odor. Not bad or stinky, just dank. The stained carpets didn't help with the vibe. Thankfully, the mini-fridge worked great. NOISE: The Portland public transit runs down the street immediately past the hotel. and is noisy, loud, rumbling...all night long, at times like thunder, and at times, like a Vegas casino or boxing match, with annoying bells and buzzers throughout the night. If you are a light sleeper, this hotel is not for you. SECURITY: Both of our key cards failed to open our doors when we returned to our rooms - after midnight. Not the safest feeling in the world. Elevators is excruciatingly slow and only one seems to be working. EXTRAS: Not indicated when making reservations, there is a surprise $20 per car daily fee to park your car ON THEIR PROPERTY WHERE YOU'RE ALREADY PAYING PREMIUM PRICES for a dank, depressing and loud room with broken keys and a slow toilet. STAFF: Proprietors were very nice and pointed us to a fantastic Indian restaurant nearby. Bottom line? For nearly $150/night, I expected better. And Motel 6 is actually nicer generally, with free parking."

"Breakfast was a bit gross. The valet was under staffed and therefore took longer then expected to get vehicle. There is only Valet!! If you leave before 6:00 there is no valet and no one mentioned that. Friday night is seems that a bunch of frat boys decided to rent rooms and made it quite uncomfortable leaving the hotel!! There’s a daily charge of $30, which I didn’t really find useful. The cleaning staff doesn’t put trash bags in the trash cans; which was really annoying. They only offer cleaning upon request. "

"Easy walk to the Moda Center. Spotless. Staff was friendly. In and Out valet parking is great. I love Portland and will stay at Hotel Eastland again. "
