"APA was surprisingly a nice find! It has been newly renovated, with clean and spacious rooms. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Possibly due to a new system, check-in and check-out took quite a bit of time. Other than that, we had a comfortable stay."

"The room and common areas were clean, bed was comfortable, daytime male front desk person was pleasant and greeted everyone. Person working the breakfast area was also very pleasant. Only downside was I didn’t realize how far it was from the Holland bridge into NYC or from hiking/things to do. The shuttle to the Staten Island ferry was nice but didn’t expect a 20 minute + ride or being the only one to use this service. Would highly recommend tourists spend more and stay closer to the city and take a look at Liberty State Park- beautiful walking paths with close view of rear of Statute if Liberty and the NYC skyline."
