"Management is terrible. The lady that was there when I checked in (said she was the manager) was extremely unpleasant and unprofessional. Location feels unsafe. Furniture was outdated and unstable. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND."

"DO NOT STAY HERE. Staff do NOT care about your safety. I was given a room with multiple things broken, including the toilet seat and sink. Holes in the walls, unclean surfaces, and sheets. Most importantly, my room came with the smoke alarm detached. The exit door was blocked by debris, and the exit stairway was not lit. I felt extremely unsafe and asked to switch rooms. I was able to get a new room, but this one also lacked any fire safety equipment. Staff were unapologetic and seemed unsurprised by these issues."

"The property was very well-maintained, just a few minor things here and there (scuff marks, a little peeling paint, etc). The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. It's a great location, within easy walking distance of some great food options; you would need to take the El or drive to get into the heart of downtown, Soldier Field, etc. The rooftop deck has a great view and is the perfect way to end your evening."

"The hotel was clean and nice. However, we got a call on checkout day at 7:40 am which woke us up that we had to move our car by 8 am as they were starting parking lot construction. Why didn’t they tell us when we checked in as they knew then? No directions were given as to where to move the car. We decided to hurry up and check out and when we got to the car at 8 am the lot was almost completely full so construction obviously wasn’t starting at 8 am. In our rush to check out we left a car key fob in the room but didn’t discover this until we were home. I called and asked to have them check the room and no one called back after several hours so I called again. The front desk person said she’d have to talk to the head housekeeper and would have to call back. A few hours went by so my spouse called back and was told they couldn’t find the fob. A message was left for the general manager and was never returned. It’s been 7 days. Partly our fault for leaving in a hurry but a most unpleasant experience. They should have put a notice under our door or left us a phone message as we didn’t use our car all weekend."

"Bathroom and entry floors dirty. Room too cold; it wouldn't warm up. Even after requesting daily maid service, they didn't make the bed,put out fresh towels, vacuum the dirty carpet. Room is Depressing!! Damaged furniture would take only 1/2 hour to sand and fix. Not worth the money."

"Room was clean and functional for what we needed. Room had shampoo and soap, but no conditioner. No do not disturb signs available. Walls are on the thin side. Only big complaint is that there seemed to be some long term residents that just sat outside smoking all day blocking the upper walkway."

"The hotel was very clean, quiet and in a great location. The rooms had just about anything you would want/need during your stay. Our air conditioning didn’t work when we arrived, but the staff was responsive and got us switched to a different room. The only thing that could improve the place would be some curtains over the windows, the blinds by themselves let too much sun in through the cracks."
