"Expedia should remove this place from its listing since its reputation is at stake! The rooms are tiny. Apart from the bed and the small desk/chair, nothing else fit in the room. Roku TV, only? They provided three full sized flat pillows for a kingsize bed. After the first night, my back hurt so bad! Bathroom faucet was unhinged and towels were dingy. The sheets and bedspread had many cigarette holes in them. We insisted before they were changed. Our non-smoking room had smoke scent sipping in under the door. We left with colds and headaches. We had to insist on two keys instead of only one for two guests. Hangers were not provided and after complaining, they gave us two that were left from clothes that were shopped from Walmart. To press clothes, we had to rent their a pressing iorn! The lobby has a soda machine that looked perpetually out of order. There is a railway line that runs 40 feet from the hotel and it is really, really noisy. We expected a 2 star hotel but this was a minus, minus, zero hole in the wall. We stayed here because we had a function in the Bronx and flew into NY City. if we drove we would not have stayed here. We should not have stayed once we were told once we paid, there was no refund. The only + about this place is the front desk and the housekeeper who did the best they could. I feelt sorry for them. Please skip Hotel Fuego."

"Very nice hotel, excellent staff and restaurant/bar. There was also a DJ playing music in the bar. Food was very good. After saying all of that there were two problems: first, the hotel has no parking on site but there is a private firm offering parking on 181st street and 180th street, I paid $32 for one night. Second, the shower was broken. I would stay again but would also verify that the shower is functional."

"6-day stay- This property was clean upon arrival, everything in good working order. Getting maid service was a struggle. Instructions said we would get it on day 3, had to ask for it on day 4. By 4 p, had to ask staff in hall, was told for full service we had to leave the room? We ended up just getting garbage emptied and clean towels. Breakfast was decent but inconsistent. Room backed up to the adjacent mall and was a little loud for my husband who is a light sleeper."
