"Room had stains on bedding, curtains. and room table. This hotel is right beside a train station which was not stated. Our continental breakfast was literally a brown paper bag with snacks. No water, juice, hot coffee, or any drink came with that. A $100 incidental fee is possibly required at check-in, so be aware of that. Staff was helpful and pleasant when needed. Although, house keeping entered our room without knocking first. The air conditioning unit worked fine for both AC and heat. I will...

"Hotel was mid. We got there 15 minutes before check in time and they wanted to make us wait to check in. Ive never been to a hotel that couldn't accommodate a very slight early check in. They stated it was because they were not done stocking a mini bar. I don't drink alcohol, especially overpriced mini bar alcohol. We tried to call the front desk twice and no one answered. Breakfast is $20 per person and you're in NYC. Why would you pay $20 for basic hotel breakfast when you have so many...

"The hotel is really nice and clean and new. I loved the overall ambience and the rustic feel of it. However, I have never been to a hotel where I’m paying over $500 a night with no coffee machine, slippers, bath robes or a hair dryer in the room.
I also noticed that some guests I met received various vouchers for free drinks and breakfast, while I did not. Also, upon check in, I was not familiarized with the hotel at all, was not told where breakfast js served or what amenities there are etc....
