"LOTS of codes to keep track of -- for the building, for your room, for the pool. We arrived early and were grateful to have our code updated so we could access our room (it did take a few tries). No staff onsite except for a housekeeper, so it all felt pretty impersonal. Our room had a mildewy smell and after an overnight thunderstorm there was water collecting on the windowsill -- the property manager did assure me they would address that immediately."

"I'm so happy Dallas has a hostel and Bishop Arts is the perfect neighborhood for it. Checking in and out was super easy and straightforward. The entire property is clean and I saw housekeeping doing work every day and at different times to ensure cleanliness for guests. Parking was easy and plentiful. Lots of restaurants and shops to pop into within a mile."

"The negative reviews about the self check-in process are legit. I never received any check-in instructions and had to chase down management through the Expedia app. It turned into about a 30-minute back-and-forth just to get set up with Kasa’s app, which honestly dragged down the whole experience.
For me, that alone made the stay feel pretty average—I would’ve happily paid an extra $100 for a traditional, fully staffed hotel downtown and skipped the hassle.
