"The host was fantastic and very welcoming. Bed was very comfortable, only thing was I would have like an extra pillow. Stayed here with my partner for our weekend to Europa Park, good location not too far from the park if driving but not the easiest to access via public transport, so would recommend staying in Ringsheim or Rust itself if coming by public transport. Good value for money and clean with most facilities provided. Could have done with a brush or scourer and washing-up liquid in the room so we could do the washing up, had to improvise using hand towels as a cloth and what appeared to be normal hand soap. Check in time could be a bit earlier for those travelling for the park from abroad who may get an early flight and the actual process of checking in could've been clearer, we received no instructions prior to arriving. Other than those tiny details this was an excellent stay and I would highly recommend."

"Staff were helpful. Room great size. No where to hang clothes but didn’t affect our stay as we had planned to live out of the suitcases anyway. Breakfast had wide variety, sausages, bacon eggs, croissants and other danishes plus cold meats, bread rolls; cereals and yogurt and fruit. Check in was easy and quick. Peaceful stay and only 15mins via car from Europa Park. Also had a really good restaurant (Glas Hause or similar) next door which we and our 2 kids enjoyed a meal at on our 1st night. Would recommend this to families visiting the area."

"We stayed at Der Ochsen as we were visiting Europa-Park. The park was only 10 minutes up the road so very convenient. Our room was absolutely spotless, modern and comfortable. The breakfast was the best I've ever had with local produce and a huge variety. The servise and host was amazing. She went above and beyond to accodate us especially as we had a large vehicle. This hotel deserves more then 5 stars and i wouldn't higly recommend to anyone. Thank you for a great stay"
