"I had one of the worst travel experiences at Hotel Lorenzo. I prepaid for a 3-night stay because I traveled to Texas for a skincare conference, and when I arrived around 10 PM after a long trip, they refused to let me check in because I did not have a physical credit card for incidentals. My wallet had been lost, and I explained the situation multiple times. The room was already fully paid for, and I had identification and proof of payment, but they showed absolutely no compassion or willingness...

"DO NOT BOOK WITH EXPEDIA!!!! Stayed at Element 2 nights, no hot water either night. Informed at check out and was told to contact manager. Emailed manager, told me because I booked with a "3rd party" site he could not help with rate adjustment. Contacted Expedia, they informed me that they could not reach hotel and could not help with refund unless manager approves it. Seems like everyone is pointing fingers at the other. I have booked multiple times with Expedia, this will be my last!"

Somehow when I got to this particular property the payment that I made on Expedia was just a “hold” and I needed to pay them directly. I have not yet received a refund and had to reach out to Expedia the next week. They are working to get this resolved so my issues it not with Expedia but instead this property."
