"An incredible spot. We chose to leave the car in town and enjoyed the gondola up. If you stay a night it should be half price. The views were amazing and the gondola stops at the property. Probably the most scenic accommodation ever. Also good food and drink and nice staff. 10/10z"

We informed the hotel in advance that we were traveling with a baby and elderly parents and requested rooms close together. Instead, we were assigned rooms in separate buildings and subjected to multiple unnecessary room moves in a single day. "The location was superb as it was literally a minute walk from the Grindewald station, and it's on the quieter side of the town. Staff were excellent, professional, helpful with advice. The breakfast was superb with a great variety and plenty of comfortable seating. The main issue was the hair found on blankets and in bathtub (photos taken, clearly not mine as I found them on arrival), there was also a red stain on one of the face washers/towels. "This is by far one of the best hotels in the entire world I have been. Very close to the train station in Wengen (just need to walk around 200 meters) downhill with luggage through a paved street. If you are in good shape, that is not a problem. All staff super friendly, feels like family. Breakfast included with very fresh and local options. We had the dinner at the hotel and it was amazing with great selection. Rooms very well mantained. Did I mention the beautiful views? Out of this world....
