"The elevator was out of order, yet we were initially given a room on the 4th floor even though the staff was aware that it wasn’t working. That would have meant carrying our luggage up several flights of stairs. Thankfully, another staff member assisted us and moved us to a room on the 2nd floor."

Once upon a time, we’d rather stay at a SpringHill than any other, but quality has diminished over the years and there are other choices that remind us of the “way it used to be.” That said, it’s fine. "This place is wonderful. Each room is unique and fun. We stayed in the Victorian room. I thoroughly enjoyed soaking in the tub, warming up by the fire and access to our own balcony. "Front desk person was rude and never let you finish a sentence. I am certain they take towels from the floor to have you reuse them. I asked for more towels (I did not tell them I suspected their repurposed towel scheme) and was told to bring the ones in the room to the front desk where she inspected the towels with a look on her face like “how can you tell these were repurposed?” I did get new towels but the experience really did not sit well with me. "The staff was great. Helpful and friendly and helped us to handle a very sticky situation caused by an unruly guest, not related to the property. We were close to just leaving to avoid the issue that was caused by this person, but Management was able to come to the lobby and handle the issue personally and we felt comfortable staying as originally planned.
