"For some reason somebody decided to keep dirty pillows by our door, room 130. The check in person was not nice either. Highly disappointed that Sue from restaurant was harassed out of Scamania hotel by not given her enough hours. She is VETERAN and was a very good employee. Shame on the management!"

"Very nice property, good location to Multnomah and Mt.Hood. Close to the city but far enough away to avoid heavy traffic. "

"Room was dirty, food/drinks all over the desk, hair and dirt all over the shower, no air conditioner. "

"Small, noisy but comfortable rooms. Very minimal no fridge, microwave or bench/chair. Great spot to access downtown Hood River. At checking we were handed our key cards and they said have a good stay. No instructions of when pool, sauna was open. No instructions about when and where coffee was an available. We were able to take our own drinks up to the roof top because it is not open for drinks or food yet."

"There was dried food matter in the refrigerator and on the stove, just over all very dirty. The staff were very friendly, but the room wasn't clean at all. They did have a help wanted sign on the front sign, so I'm guessing they were short on help. We just went and got some supplies and cleaned it up. The tv barely worked as well, just kept going on and off. Reception problem I'm sure. Fortunately we had lots of plans for outings so we we mostly just there to sleep. But if I had any advice maybe check the rooms before putting people in there. "
