"Our room was clean and the bed was quite comfortable. We loved how the mini fridge had a small freezer. We were a little sad that the hot tub was under construction during a stay, but that would not stop us from staying again. The breakfast provided was well stocked with a variety of items and everything was fresh and hot. We will stay here if given the chance to come back to Stilwell again."

"Honest review: Older property but clean. Front desk staff were very friendly. Breakfast was the usual. Floor in the bathroom gets wet every time you take a shower because of the way the curtain rod was installed. Quiet. Would stay again."

"The Walnut in is a charming little hotel off I40 that my dog and I stopped at for a quick overnight that ended conning two nights. It was wonderful. So clean, cute, the staff were amazing and there was the best little diner right next door! Casino across the way but we didn’t go over! The price was fantastic and really I can’t say more wonderful things about it! 10/10 for me!"

"Towels were not in the room when we entered it, we had to return to the front desk to get them. Many flies in the room and outside the room. Breakfast on Friday morning was about 1 hour late due to an employee issue. But overall our stay was acceptable for the price. Would probably stay there again."

"We were in town for my cousins’s wedding and from the very beginning, the staff was friendly helpful. The room was clean and breakfast area in the morning was clean and the person in charge of it was working diligently on making sure everything was as ready as possible. Definitely get my moneys worth and this location will definitely be on the top of my list if I were to stay there again."

"The rooms have been recently updated and are very clean. The outside of the hotel faced an RV park which felt a bit awkward to have people looking at you as you were entering/exiting the rooms. The front desk staff were very kind and helpful with an issue with the TV. It was overall very quiet during out stay. The continental breakfast was the biggest disappointment. "Staff was friendly and amazingly helpful. We had a missing drain plug for our tub and the manager at the desk, (the AMAZING pie lady) was super helpful and gave us a solution. Property is beautiful and is right near the main street in town, and a very quiet location. Only 2 complaints I have are 1. "Room was clean and staff was friendly. My mqin issue is. I asked for an ADA room and I was given a room with a normal bathroom no rails or extra space. It was on thr bottom floor . I reserved and paid ahead we did have a late night arrival. I am just recovering from a temporary injury but anyone using a wheelchair or walker full time ahould double. Heck this amenity. Some of the furniture is a but run down. The parking lot is crazy trying to figure out how to get in especially at night."
