"Lovely little bolt hole next to a great pub. The bed was very comfy and the shower was amazing. The outside seating is overlooked by the main road and due to roadworks it was a bit too busy with standing traffic to sit outside. The pub next door was very good and we enjoyed an evening meal and breakfast the next day."

"It's not a bad place. But filthy carpets were the main disappointment & filthy smoke butts outside the main door up stairs. Was there for 3 days, not once did I see anybody do any cleaning or replenish towels or tea & coffee. That's why it wasn't value for money. "No complaints at all about the property it was spotless and in a perfect location. Parking was secure and well organised. Our only compliant is that we checked out over a week ago and have still not received a refund of the deposit by bank transfer as promised even though we were informed it was being paid. We stay in a lot of holiday lets with refundable deposits and have never had to use a bank transfer system before. Using a credit card guarantee is in our view far better as bank transfers...
