"An overnight stay whilst visiting Glasgow for a concert. Perfectly located for Central Station and Buchanan Bus Station. A bit price due to concert and no tea or coffee in the room. No glasses in the bathroom. Very clean very quiet and very high tech."

"Very modern hotel room that was cleaned very well. It's very close to the station and other bus stops that lead to the airport. Great ambience at the lobby and bar area. Overall, can't complain."

"The hotel is a beautiful historic building in the centre of Stirling, once an infirmary, bank and library, and the exterior still has that charm. The location is excellent, with Stirling Castle and the Old Town Jail a short walk uphill, and plenty of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. Parking is limited at the front but we paid £18 for 48 hours, and there’s extra parking behind the hotel. The public areas—bar, reception, lounge and breakfast room—are modern, stylish and welcoming, and staff were pleasant throughout. Unfortunately, our room (114) didn’t match the standard downstairs. The décor was very dated, the headboard had yellowed, the furniture was scratched, and the black sink was marked. There were only two usable plugs, no bedside sockets, no bedroom mirror, and the tiny fridge only held two complimentary tins of water. We also found hairs on the wall, toilet and bath. Breakfast was nice, though the stained blue cloth under the food made the area feel less hygienic. Overall, the hotel has huge potential thanks to its history, location and lovely communal spaces, but the rooms—especially ours—need refurbishment. I would stay again, but only in an upgraded room."

Moxy Glasgow SEC
6/10 Okay
"The moxy is our number one go to when attending events at the hydro in glasgow. We stayed in January for the wwe event and then again Thursday night for the UB40 gig. The room was clean and presentable. We love the quirkyness of the reception and bar area. It's always been a warm and friendly atmosphere until friday morning (12/06/26). We went downstairs for breakfast. The staff member didnt have the usual warmth we usually recieve at the moxy. Just sent to the buffet and told to sit "wherever". Another guest had alerted this particular member of staff that the milk was running low. I appreciate that breakfast can be a busy time. The guest reminded the staff member 3 times about the milk in a kind and respectful manor. However the staff member snapped at the guest about how she had already asked for this to be changed and stormed away. The breakfast was also just okay. The coffee tasted burnt and the pastries were slightly stale. We love the moxy and would like to continue to come back. But this had unfortunately put a downer on our stay. When checking out we were told to just put our room cards in a jar. No goodbye or a warm hope to see you soon again not we are used to from the moxy."
