"Upon arrival we were promptly greeted by Michelle who assisted us with check-in and parking. Note: we are traveling in a full-sized pick up towing a 12 ft cargo trailer, approximately 35 ft in length all together. "All of the staff were so kind and helpful. They had cute little extras that made it a special place to stay. Chalk around the property to draw, pools, rocking chairs outside at the main building, laundry, cookie time. The cafe on property was good, a little pricey though. The room wasn’t anything special, the rest of the property made it special."

"At check in Bruce was super helpful, giving a short tour of things to see in the area. This place serves up a super comfortable bed, microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker. You have your own parking spot in front of your room. There is also an indoor pool and hot tub. Very convenient location in Custer! Clean, convenient and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again when in the area."

"No coffee pot in room."

"The room had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. It always smelled musty in the room and the airconditioner was functioning but the room remained very humid. There is an area for pets, which was convenient. The pool was fine but the bathrooms in the pool area were filthy. They clearly hadn't been cleaned in awhile and there was no hand soap. This was the situation each day so clearly it isn't done daily. The breakfast was good as well. It is very convenient to downtown Custer."

"Great location near Mount Rushmore. Beautiful property, easy parking, great dining options near by, friendly staff. Breakfast was great to get our day started. Rooms were clean and spacious too."

"The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. It was in a great location. The breakfast was lame. There was packaged muffins, bread and a do-it-yourself waffle maker. No fruit or other varieties. No juice, only coffee or tea. We stayed 3 nights. There was no room service the until the second day when the trash was dumped, the towels picked up and the bed made."

"We traveled to this location during the night and it was incredibly hard to see the road signs leading to it. Most of the roads were dirt and some of them were washed out from rain. It is best to get here during daylight."

"Beautiful views, lovely breakfast. Our room was dated, staff fixed the tv for us as it had a broken sensor . Beds and recliner was comfy."

"The staff was above and beyond. Super helpful and one guy went out of his way to turn the outdoor fireplace on so my family and I could enjoy a quit family talk session. Definitely will be coming back next year."

"It was a cabin that sleeps 6 but only had a few spoons and forks in the kitchen. The pots and pans were warped beyond use and the pillows were fairly worn out and completely flat. It seems a few cheap updates would greatly improve this property."
