The decor elegant - remodel very well done - its very chic and not done in cheep way - the quality of toiletries and tea in room are high end - organic - wish we could stay here longer. The only thing to watch out for is check-in is closed from 12h-15h. The stairway up to the rooms is a bit narrow. Not a problem but just to be aware if you use oversized luggage. I would defiantly stay here again. "

"The Prince Consort is a nice local pub which also has rooms for bed and breakfast. I enjoyed the full English breakfast, which included very good quality bacon and sausages and all the usual ingredients. The coffee was especially delicious. I was visiting for a family funeral which was catered for there too. The buffet for the wake was also very good."

"We came with our 3 year old and 6 year old just for an overnight stay as we had visited Longleat. The hosts were really lovely and we had a little continental breakfast for the next morning with fresh milk and juice in the fridge. The room was spacious with a king sized bed and 2 x singles. "Wir haben das Hotel extra gebucht, weil es auch ein Restaurant hat. Leider schloss dies schon um 16:00, so dass es nicht möglich war dort das Abendessen einzunehmen. Wir mussten dann mit dem Auto nach Salisbury (10 Minuten) fahren, da das Hotel nicht zentral liegt. Beim Buchen war das nicht ersichtlich. Die jungen Frauen im Hotel waren sehr nett, aber der Besitzer ungehalten und unfreundlich. Das Zimmer war herzig. Der Temperaturregler der Dusche funktionierte aber nicht und wir duschten kalt....

"The only possible complaint would be that we had to wait an hour after we had ordered food before it appeared. The food itself was excellent. Reserved named parking spaces for residents most helpful,. Very welcoming staff. "
