"Disappointing stay at this hotel. The staff were a little unwelcoming and the service was not great.
A beautiful location but this was let down by terrible parking, poor facilities and attention to detail that wasn’t there!!!!
The spa was poor with an outlook to a wall!!
The room was also disappointing with hair on my pillow and uncomfortable cheap pillows. I was very much looking forward to this stay but was very disappointed."

"Had a lovely night away. Room was clean and nice to have a fridge with fresh milk for coffee etc. Breakfast was delicious and lots of choice. Outside areas are great for relaxing and nice to have an outside pool. In a quiet area but within walking distance to the beach, train station and town. Great hosts. Would definitely recommend. Thank you. "

"Very Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel and room was perfect, air con was a massive help in this weather. The spa facilities were the best and just what we needed. Will be back again soon!"

"I recently stayed at the Grand Hotel in Torquay from Monday to Friday last week with my family, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing.
The hotel is in a fantastic location, making it easy to explore Torquay and walk to the beach. Having two swimming pools was also a nice feature and something the children enjoyed.
However, the hotel itself is in desperate need of modernisation. Our biggest concern was safety around the pool. My daughter caught her toe on a loose or damaged tile...
