"The riverwalk area is absolutley unique. We chose this hotel soley for its location righ talong the Riverwalk. the staff was super friendly from the Valets at curbside to the front desk staff."

"Very comfortable. I liked that there was a couch so I could watch television and eat the desert that I was allowed to eat in my room. I asked for a bandaid because I wore the wrong shoes and they had them! As a single woman traveling I could stay in the hotel as there was a bar and two restaurants. "

"Situated on a quieter section of the river walk, not sure it’s worth the up charge for river walk view. We could only see trees and small bit of water. It is right next to the Briscoe art museum. Easy walk from back of hotel to the busier restaurants. Fiume pizzeria or Prost Stein Haus are 5 minutes. Ambler bar is solid but taste your drink before you walk off. Valet is $49 a night with in and out access. Overall facilities and ambience are excellent and feel luxurious. Live music at the bar...

"We really enjoyed our stay! The historic Crockett Hotel really put us in a great frame of mind for our Alamo tour - which was practically next door! We loved being able to walk to anything we wanted to do in the downtown area with no problem. Our King bedroom was a little small, but was nicely refurbished. The staff was friendly and was more than helpful with any questions we had. We would stay there again!"
