"First of all I paid extra for the “Premium” room experience which was supposed to include snacks and egyptian sheets and luxurious towels….I get in the room (which wasn’t hard because the door frame was busted) and there are no snacks, stains all over the furniture and a HUGE cigarette burn in the comforter. "Everything was great for the most part. My boyfriend and I stayed there for a night and tried the pool. It was fantastic, although the hot tub wasn’t available. The staff was great when we checked in, but the ones who were there when we left were a bit rude. I don’t really mind that, though. The breakfast was okay. "The place is old, but was refurbished in years past. The closet door mirror was broken. Black ants in the bathroom. On the positive side, it was one minute away from FDR's house and library, and a little bit away from a new shopping center with a supermarket. The guy who checked us in was friendly. Breakfast was waffles and oatmeal; some fruit was out to grab. Hyde Park is not what we expected. The town looks tired.
