"The room was spacious and clean. The mattress was very comfortable. The hot tub was relaxing to go in after a cold windy day of walking. The shuttle to the casino was very nice."

"Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Room was clean with nice bedding. The bathroom was clean with nice body wash, shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Plenty of towels! The location of this hotel is perfect for exploring the Mystic area and Groton. A variety of restaurants nearby."

"Freshly painted hallways. Outside door at end of hall was always unlocked though. Garbage can outside emptied daily. They didn't recycle even though a container to do so in the room. Breakfast was mediocre. Coffee and juices were good. Bagels, mini mufgins, yogurt, apples, and a waffle machine for patrons to use. Small pre-made frozen egg and sausage sandwiches were horrible. The cheese on it was horrendous. McDonald's and DD right down the road."

"When we walked in our room, it smelled like cigarettes. Unable to get a refund from booking through hotels.com, the manager immediately offered to ozone our room in which we needed to leave for an hour. It was an improvement upon our return. She also offered us free dinner. We ate offsite but it was nice. Sadly, the smell returned the next day. The staff was helpful and it was a convenient location but more suited for families with young children. If you want a more serene place, I would go elsewhere. The staff was great, I would not return as the hotel rooms could use an update, quite shabby, and the air system had a permanent cigarette odor in our room. We would have left if we were able to get a refund."

"There is significant construction going on for renovations, so it’s in pretty bad shape and it’s very noisy. Staff said it’s stated on the website and other places that it’s under construction, but we did not/ do not see that anywhere. The pool and the room were fine. The “main desk” is a series of folding tables in a dumpy area, and breakfast is grab-to-go cereals and some bagels with a garbage toaster. If we’d known of its conditions, we would never have stayed here. Construction noises and intense and vibrate whatever area you’re in. Definitely not worth it! They should have closed for renovations, and it seems clear that they’re hiding that info from potential customers, so people don’t know this is going on until they get there. And charging full and expensive prices! Totally ridiculous. "
