It was good hotel, restaurant and tidy room! But Indoor pool was not.... Water temperature was cold, I could stay in the pool within 10 minutes. And water quality is not good.

One mishap… the cleaning staff came to clean the room after breakfast but my husband was in the shower I asked her if she could back in an hour but it seem that my request made her upset by the way that she looked at me and she never came back to clean the room.

If you are looking for a nice experience when traveling with a family, including the use of an indoor pool, DO NOT stay at this property. The only reason I chose this hotel was so my 4-year-old could enjoy a warm indoor pool before visiting the Mystic Aquarium. Before booking, I specifically called the hotel and was told the pool was maintained at 78 degrees and was enjoyable for families. That was not true. The pool water was tepid at best, and the pool area itself was cold. There were visible building issues contributing to this, including a ¼”–½” gap under an exterior door with no weather stripping and windows covered in condensation, indicating inadequate insulation for this climate. The space was clearly not properly heated or maintained. I raised concerns early in the morning and was told maintenance would be contacted, but no one followed up. Later, when I spoke with Operations Manager Heather Park, she was dismissive and defensive, insisting the water temperature was fine and implying it only felt cold due to the windows. That response was insulting and unprofessional. Bottom line: I was given inaccurate information about the pool. The pool area is poorly designed and inadequately climate-controlled. Customer service was dismissive and rude. This was a disappointing experience, especially for a family with a young child. I would not recommend this hotel if an indoor pool is important to your stay.

My stay at the Hilton in Mystic, Connecticut was horrible from the very first day until the very end. On the first night, there was extremely loud noise coming from every direction—guests playing music at full blast, people screaming, and doors constantly being slammed. I contacted the front desk to complain, but I was completely ignored the first time. After that, they stopped answering calls from the phone inside the room, forcing me to call from my personal phone. Heather eventually answered and was helpful enough to move us to a different room, which I appreciated. However, the noise issues continued throughout the rest of my stay. Early mornings and late nights were filled with screaming children and loud adults, along with nonstop door slamming. The noise level was so bad that other guests had to step out of their rooms to complain as well, yet nothing was properly resolved. This continued for the entirety of our stay. To make matters worse, the room itself was not very clean, which added to the overall disappointment. Between the constant noise, lack of effective response from the front desk, and cleanliness issues, the customer service and overall experience fell far below expectations. I am extremely disappointed with this stay and would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.

The staff were wonderful, including the manager, who calmly and kindly helped us through a booking issue with Expedia in that we only had one room for the stay, while we had booked two through Expedia. The staff made an extra effort to make Christmas morning special, by dressing up in holiday jumpers and the buffet included luscious strawberries, whipped cream and chocolate chips fashioned into adorable santas. A plus for the staff. The hotel was beautifully decorated in all public areas and they made a special effort to decorate for the holidays inside and out. The pool areas was nice but a tad chilly. Gym was clean and workable.Towels, water and seating was abundant in both. The hotel was very clean as were our rooms. We had adjoining doubles, which was convenient for our family. We loved the public spaces by the gas fireplace and enjoyed the very cool outdoor atrium with gas warming fires under lights and the open sky. The beds were extremely firm, which was not great for our backs. This was the biggest drawback. The location is fantastic. We walked to the Aquarium and Olde Mistick VIllage, which is truly a fantastic spot for specialty shops, dining and movie theater. We had a short drive to the Seaport, which would have been walkable if it weren't 26 degrees with a windchill factor that brought us down into almost the single digits. What a great little Christmas vacation we had in Mystic, in large part thanks to the Mystic Hilton.

We were able to put our kids stockings and presents under the tree and celebrate Christmas in the lobby.
We spent a lot of time by the beautiful fireplace. Really nice and talked with tons of nice guests.

Room and hotel was very clean and had all the amenities needed. Plus the hotel is busy enough the restaurant was open later to accommodate people like us with late arrival.
