"I've stayed several times recently. It's not a 5 star hotel and not a five star crazy room rate.
It's in the middle (kind the east end) of The Sunset Strip, The Whisky, Viper Room Rainbow Room (many may be out of business as is much of the city.
Not large rooms but a room with 1 King is very pleasant and comfortable compared to the total lack of similarly priced hotels in the area.

"We booked this hotel last year and the reviews were great. Upon arrival one of our party was quite upset due to her cards not working and the staff was mot helpful at all just started at her in disgust.
We were also told no further charges were to be made as it was all prepaid through virgin then having over 200 dollars debited from the account!

"We had an excellent stay here for a weekend! Location was incredible with only a few-minutes walk to the Dolby Theatre, Ovation Hollywood, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and the Chinese Theatre. Easily walkable to everything! Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Patricia at breakfast was so kind and lovely! Rooms were outdated but we could appreciate the old-Hollywood style vibe. Rooms were clean, plenty of space for 4 adults, and comfortable. Breakfast was simple but good and convenient....
