"We enjoyed our stay at AWOL Stowe. A special thank you to Valeria for making us feel so welcome. AWOL is located just a short drive (like 1 - 2 minutes) from restaurants in and around downtown Stowe. It was a great home-base. It's on the route to Smuggler's Notch and very near the Mt. Mansfield Toll Road (both things I recommend doing, especially the Toll Road. There's a hike at the top that is so worth it.). When you check-in at AWOL, you'll see the dining room (where breakfast is served) and...

"Very helpful front desk staff. Property has construction going on, but that only affects the outside appearance (all other facilities are in great condition). A little expensive, but everything in Stowe is unfortunately. "

"Excellent location just outside of Stowe a 1.5 mi walk along rec path or short drive. Stowe Bee bakery next door for breakfast/lunch with GF options. Right off the rec path was wonderful. Clean, comfortable all the amenities just as described. Comfy beds, great shower. Staff was lovely. Hot tub was nice! "
