"A last minute refusal by another property to honour our booking meant we had to quickly find an alternative. With hindsight, this was actually a good thing when we found this apartment. Marlborough was simply excellent. Lovely apartment, great view over the river, spotlessly clean, great location (convenient & quiet), easy reserved parking and lovely staff. Without a doubt will book here again on our next stay in the area. A great find."

"We were led to believe a lift was not required as ground floor. Wheelchair friendly etc. The bedroom was up a very steep set of stairs and no bathroom on the upper level. Having to access the bathroom in the night was quite dangerous for elderly people. The unit was not in good condition and I was asked to pay an insurance type of payment or leave a hundred pound bond that they could access if they felt it warranted it. "

"Having grown up in Ayrshire I am familiar with the location and in relation to the beach transport links and town centre, the property was brilliant value for money. However, the property itself was in a poorer than expected quality for the price of it. Prior to our arrival I was contacted to ask how I would like the flat made up, with there being 6 adults staying for the weekend I asked that the sofa bed would be made up and that the beds would be split into singles to accommodate this....

"We were only in the property a couple of hours before we were moved due to the building being unsafe. We were moved to an apartment at roughly 21:30 at night, we were moved to an apartment with no hot tub, as this was not the experience we were looking for we agreed with Donnini to leave the next morning and they would give us a full refund (we were booked for two nights). Over a week later Hotels.com and myself can’t get a response from Donnini and needless to say a refund hasn’t been...
