Top Stratford-upon-Avon Hotel Reviews
Malmaison Birmingham
10/10 Excellent
"Clean modern room. Comfy bed with the best shower I think I’ve ever had, and great value for what it cost."
The White Swan Hotel
8/10 Good
"Easy checkin and check out. Reception and restaurant staff (at breakfast) were welcoming and polite. Stayed one night and the breakfast was really nice. Executive double well worth the extra money for the space and super king size bed along with large bathroom. Central location and parking in the Windsor surface car park right next door to the hotel made life easy, as you can walk straight through to reception. Would definitely stay again when visiting Stratford Upon Avon."
The Grand Hotel Birmingham
10/10 Excellent
"The Grand Suite is the perfect place for a romantic stay."
Staverton Park Hotel & Golf Club
8/10 Good
"First impressions, excellent facilities finished to an extremely high standard. Dinner was excellent in terms of quality and presentation and reasonable value. Staff smartly dressed and well versed. Lasting impressions: Unfortunately overnight the hotel alarm system was triggered at 2:50am which caused an evacuation of the building. Once the alarm system was reset 10-15 minutes later we returned to our rooms. Unfortunately our sleep had been interrupted so we slept very poorly until breakfast. Breakfast was somewhat a free for all with seemingly the entire hotel guests arriving at once causing a succession of queues for everthing from a spoon to a mug and cooked breakfast itelf. Coffee ran out on numerous occasions leaving the whole dining experience as unrelaxed as it could possibly get. I think some lessons need to be learned from this latest Saturday night/Sunday morning experience. So only 4 stars out of 5 I'm afraid (it really ought to be 5 stars if these issues had not ocurred)!"
Holiday Inn Express Birmingham - City Centre by IHG
8/10 Good
"Nice hotel. Great location. Easy check in. Friendly reception staff. We were given a disabled room (not disabled) but great sized bathroom. A shame the dove soap by one of the sinks was watered down. Disappointing for a 4 star. Good choice at breakfast. Staff a bit keen on clearing our table. Still had full cups of coffee and juice. Returned after collecting more food and our table had been cleared. We were lucky no one sat in our seats. Overall a good stay and would definitely stay here again."
Village Hotel Solihull
10/10 Excellent
"We absolutely loved our stay at Village Hotel Solihull! The hotel is clean, the rooms are comfortable and quiet, and the facilities are excellent. The location is fantastic and very convenient, and the large amount of parking available is a real bonus. The kids really enjoyed the stay too, which made it even more enjoyable for us. Overall, a great hotel and a lovely experience - we would definitely stay again!"
Genting Hotel & Spa at Resorts World Birmingham
10/10 Excellent
"Enjoyed my stay here. Great experience from checking in , friendly helpful staff, immaculate room and tasty breakfast. The spa looked great but I didn’t have time to use it. I would stay here again."
The DoubleTree by Hilton Stratford-upon-Avon

"Great location"
Stratford Manor Hotel
8/10 Good
"Pleasant setting. Didn't use many facilities but the bar is a nice spacious area and was relatively quiet when we visited. The rooms are a decent size but could do with a 21st century upgrade. No plugs on either side of the bed is a poor show. Dog friendly while remaining mindful of other guests. There's a £25 dog surcharge."
