"Very old and tired hotel. Beds were hard, pillows were flat. Amenities were few. Breakfast was good. But for the price you are paying, it was not good value."

"The hotel has a great vibe and the staff are lovely. The views are incredible. The restaurant wad busy but the staff were great. Portions were generous and the food was good. Our only real complaint was our room #31. I understand old hotels don’t have lifts, so it’s a long way up to the top floor with luggage. Our room had water damage around the windows. "We found the hotel staff to be very friendly and helpful. The room was ideal as a base for sight seeing. We ate our evening meals there while staying and they were excellent. "

"Excellent accommodation with an exceptional view. Immediately after booking, Colin, the owner emailed with all the information we needed to make our stay on Skye fabulous. We were greeted on arrival. The pod was meticulously clean and really lovely! Bathroom with shower, microwave, milk in the fridge, tea bags, coffee and sugar. Clean bedding, towels, tea towel, dish cloth, washing up liquid. Crockery in the cupboards. The decking had a table and two chairs and looked over the most spectacular...

"My husband and I stayed here as part of our two week trip in Scotland from the United States. This was one of our favorite hotel stays! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food in the restaurant/bar was excellent. We really appreciated all the extra little amenities that came along with this room. I would recommend this as a great place to stay if you were looking to travel to Skye for a day."
