"Room amenities were not 4 star. No USB ports, no kettle, warm fridge, safe that didn't open, bedside wall light front plate fell off, no instructions on how to operate anything, no information about breakfast/dinner menus, bed sheets do not fit the bed. Room was clean, bathroom was very nice, hairdryer included. Staff pleasant and mostly helpful.
Restaurant did not make a good impression at dinner. Slow service, wrong order after long wait followed by another long wait for the correct...

"What once was a spectacular residence, now hotel, has not been maintained. It's too bad as I do believe if you are to acquire this type of building, you should be committed to maintaining it.
I was disappointed with my stay. I stayed for two days and my room wasn't cleaned for two days consecutively. After asking the front desk it was cleaned. I think there were bed bugs because I go over 15 bites on my back, arms and hands in one evening, and proceeded to get them over the next two...

"A great home base for a cycling trip. The rooms were very clean and modern and all the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
There was a convenient and secure bike storage room in the garage with local bike services nearby. The many routes as detailed by the Centrum RVV all originate at the doorstep of the hotel.
It was a very warm week in Belgium, so it was wonderful to relax with a drink on their backyard patio where there was both ample shade and a nice breeze.

Service de location de vélos pratique pour se rendre dans le centre ville de Gand en 20 mn avec des pistes cyclables le long de cours d'eau : très agréable.
