"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms are slightly worn but it’s a given with the nature of the property. Rooms were clean and had no issues. Modern bathroom. Staff attentive and helpful. The spa is dated, and not all facilities were working. It felt more like hotel pool facilities rather than a spa itself. Great to have included in the price of the room to use if you want. Breakfast was okay, small selection of included made to order options. Full breakfast with an additional £5 charge. Eggs were not good quality, recommend hotel to change supplier."

"Had a wonderful few days at The Bear in Rodborough. The staff were wonderful especially Nicky who went out of her way to make our visit special. Food was lovely and breakfast wax really good. The views are amazing Would come again 🙂"

"Very good hotel and reasonably priced. Drinks are very expensive. Our check out experience was dreadful. It took 25 minutes because the receptionist could not work out it the Expedia payment was complete. Spoilt what was otherwise a very pleasant experience."
