"Really beautiful secluded spot on the beach with a lovely staff, not to mention cute beach puppies! The beach was the best for swimming we encountered on our road trip, and the bird watching tower looking into the nature reserve was really cool. The bungalow with an outdoor shower was lovely. We were here for only one night, but wish we had been able to stay longer, and hope to be back soon! Quick note about google maps is that it doesn't think you can drive all the way there, but the road does...

The not so good: We were informed by taxi drivers that the area is not safe at night and that you should always try to avoid walking on the street after hours. Next, the rooms are clean but the mosquitoes have moved in and is horrible the amount that you may find in each room. For some unknown reason they don’t have mosquito control. "This is no review of Ayenda Jimatta. Having booked and got confirmation from hotels.com, on arrival there was no booking registered, hotel was full so no room available. According to them, they are not on the hotels.com platform. Probably a nice place, but very frustrating to experience the above after a long travel. So - hotels.com - improve your service or lose customers!"
