Stratford Motel

"In Whitehorse for a few days on the way to Dawson City (Northern BC/Yukon trip w kids from southern interior of BC), just wanted an inexpensive room to sleep at in between locations and a hiking trip out to Kluane. It’s not the nicest room in the world but it was relatively clean, staff was nice/helpful, laundry facilities were modern and $2.50/wash, $2.50/dry (although the first few steps into the basement look a bit like a dungeon) and AC worked well (the small units with hoses punched out thru the wall - cooled it down well even with it being 26-27 outside). Good sized mini-fridge and microwave. Would stay again if we ever make it back to Whitehorse!"

"Very nice hotel. Lighting in room is very dim if you need bright lighting. Comfortable beds, nice towel animals on your bed to welcome you. Room had portable air condition that you could adjust to your comfort level. Very deep tub. "
