"Bathroom wall had visible stain looks like mold, sheet had a stain and we requested new sheets they took over 4 hours and dropped them off for my wife to remake the bed, hotel charged $400 in fees once we arrived that we was unaware of the hotel didn’t provide a ride to the airport for departure, so we had to call a taxi , we was also disappointed in the shuttle service because they would be late or unable to pickup , the best thing about this hotel is the pool area and the historic lobby, plus they only drop at one location if you use shuttle buses ."

"Room was clean and nice. Be prepared for the wildlife surround the pool. (Chickens and Iguanas). One thing that I found out was that I caught one of the members of the cleaning staff peering into my room when I had the window cracked. "

"Great super clean resort. Room was beautiful. Not on the main Key West strip, but hourly shuttle that drops you off right there. Only issue was the lack of water pressure. Resort is becoming a Hilton property in a few months."

"We unfortunately did not have a wonderful experience. We had a female waitress serve us at breakfast but after we concluded, the male waiter decided to come over and clear our table. He noticed that we were feeding the chickens during our meal and decided to go into great detail about all the “C*cks” roaming the place! Black C*ocks, White C*cks and even some Spanish C@cks. He let us know about the White C@ck he had at his own home. It was especially disturbing that he directed the conversation towards my girlfriend who I was on my first trip with. She was so upset that she wanted to leave the resort. I expressed our discomfort with the desk staff and was told a manager would be in contact. I was contacted the next day, being told an internal investigation would take place and they would let me know the outcome. Meanwhile instead of using anything the facility has to offer, we went elsewhere. We were there for 5 days and didn’t use any of the services provided by the resort. I received an email 3 days after we were gone apologizing for the horrible situation, saying the appropriate measures had been taken with the staff member. Our compensation for a ruined vacation = a 2 day stay on them in the future sometime. Doesn’t seem right to me! I don’t expect them to pay for my trip, but it would be nice if they took accountability for the issue we incurred. I don’t even want my money back! I just want. "I booked thought Orbitz and paid for it months ago, when I checked in the girl at the counter wanted to change me again and I had to show her my itinerary and she straightened it all out and I paid her the remaining $280 owed, when I checked out the girl behind the counter said I still owed the $280 ??? I didn't pay it and left, I gave it only a 3 rating not only because of this but 2 other issues, #1 is there is no light that you can turn on when you enter the guest bedroom, you have to walk all the way to the back wall and fumble around in the dark to find a light switch at the bottom of a lamb, then when you leave you had better left the door open so you don't have to walking out in the dark, I could tell it's been this way for a long time and nobody has taken the time to fix it, #2 the toilet seat in the guest bathroom is so loose it's about to fall off and again I can tell it's been that way for a long time and nobody has taken the time to fix it, other than that me 'ENJOYED' your stay"

"Room was clean and spacious. Kitchen was more than adequate. Staff was excellent. Great place to stay. Parking garage can get a little crowded at times. Great little touch having cookies and water available in the afternoon. If you want to avoid the craziness of Old Town, this is a solid option"
