"Room very basic. Noise from road is terrible. You will not sleep. Cold shower and no soap. "

Later in the day, we returned to the "shack", and noticed there was no hand soap in the bathroom, we asked for the WiFi password, and asked for the remote control to the television. "The staff struggled to find my reservation then told me our room was occupied and we need to pick a different room. rooms were not ready during their check in time. we found cockroaches and large spiders in the room when we finally got in. we left immediately. "

No one to call when check out, we had to climb up to ask the receptionist to 'zipline' our luggages up. Big suitcases will have issues I guess..."

"The room was beautiful with a stunning view from the bed with a huge bay window. Wifi was good, bed was comfortable, restaurant had great food. Staff was friendly. I wish there was a mini fridge. Cleanliness couuld have been better. There was spots on the stainless and mirrors. The windows on the breakfast room were very spotty, ruining awesome view. Imsure its hard to keep perfect with salt water waves but wiping them more often would help maybe. I really loved that you can use your card...

"There is NO airport shuttle at this resort. You're on your own getting there from Dumaguete. Fortunately, it is only a two minute walk from the fast craft port to the hotel. Also, they do not accept credit cards at this hotel. Cash only. Important to know, as there are not many restaurants nearby, other than the one on the property. Enjoyed the stay and open air dining. Nice staff. There is even a scooter rental place nearby."

"As a regular staying at Essentia in Dumaguete, Charos dormitel is a breath of fresh air !! Outstanding room, staff, restaurant and not so many guests (not crowded like Essentia) ! I agree with other travelers reviews now ! This was a 5 star experience for one night stay. Definitely will return in the near future😀 "
