"Probably the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in. The gentleman at the front desk gave great local recommendations and made a personal connection as we were both heading to Bar Harbor the next day. Breakfast was reasonably priced especially for having smoked salmon on the buffet to go on my bagel and even had capers. Staff at the restaurant was also great. "

"I stayed here alone when I came to visit my son who lives in Providence. This place is beautiful! It is a renovated historical Boston hotel. The room I had felt like a comfortable, cozy, well appointed bedroom not a hotel room. Staff was always at the front desk no matter the hour and was accommodating. Bottled water, soda, morning snacks and evening cookies are included with the resort fee which I did not expect. It is located in a very quiet area. There were a few homeless people down the street to the left of the hotel, but if you are driving or walking to the right they are not a concern. I felt very safe in the hotel. Would stay here again. "
