Sunderland hotel guide. Motel 6 hotel in Sunderland, Maryland

We were visiting Chesapeake Beach & Bay in Maryland & opted to stay here. The reception staff were lovely; do take their recommendation of visiting Jerry's for dinner - the food is amazing! Breakfast was pretty good, once we'd convinced the breakfast staff to re-stock everything. The pool was a little disappointing. There were towels strewn everywhere & no fresh ones when I went to use the pool. That having been said they did deal with the issue promptly when I raised it. The water for the pool...

Excellent reception staff and our rooom was great, too. Fantastic spot with easy and walkable access to the town. Really good facilities, too.

Lovely hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. Beautiful location looking over the marina and towards the sea - some beautiful sunsets from our room! Very convenient location for Tighlman Island and St Michaels.

Stay was good. Room was nice and clean. Staff was friendly.

All staff were very friendly, helpful and informative. Facilities at the hotel for a business trip were just right, from use of a printer to laundry. The local area had good amenities for shopping and eating with the hotel on a commutable route into Washington DC.

Lovely hotel very friendly staff and great breakfast

I stayed in the week leading up to Christmas and was astounded at the welcome we recieved. All the staff were very friendly and I was made to feel 'at home'. The amenities here are suberb and the cleaniless first rate. With being so close to the centre of Waldorf, there were so many places that we could visit - including the ice rink that was just behind the hotel. We will definately stay here again.

The staff very welcoming.

Lovely views from the large garden, overlooking the estuary. Excellent hostess and superb breakfast.

The place is great as its near where I went to work.

Really comfortable rooms. Quiet and large rooms. The swimming pool and hot tub were great. Gym facilities looked good but weren’t used. Breakfast not too bad
