"Our experience started off poorly due to a receptionist who was unhelpful regarding the cleaning service after our late-night arrival. It was a frustrating first impression. Fortunately, the next day we spoke with the manager, who was friendly, understanding, and handled the situation fairly. We really appreciated his willingness to make things right. The location is excellent for visiting Redwood National and State Parks, with many of the area’s main attractions nearby. While the initial experience was disappointing, the manager’s customer service helped improve our overall stay."

"Breakfast was very simple, just cereal, toast with peanut butter or nutri bars were offered and coffee. The water in the water machine tasted like chloride. But staff were very nice and the room was cleaned. I liked the hard wood floors as a change, normally there is carpet in hotels. And there was plenty of parking."
