After waiting, we had no choice but to find and check ourselves into an unoccupied room. Additionally, none of the usual amenities were available: the restaurant and bar were not operating. The next morning, a staff member admitted they had “forgotten” to leave a note, but no compensation or effort to make things right was offered. For a hotel charging this rate, this level of service is unacceptable. What was supposed to be a relaxing getaway turned into a stressful experience."
