"The restaurants were amazing. The property is beautiful. The staff over all was wonderful. We only had issues with unfriendly front desk staff. There are cement slabs upon entering the beach. It was challenging to get into the ocean."

"The Delray Sands Resort is located in an absolutely beautiful area! We enjoyed sitting on our balcony with a cup of coffee each morning basking in the sights and sounds of the ocean. If you choose to sunbathe, the resort staff at the pool or beach are very helpful. We also walked a couple of miles each day down Oceanfront Blvd which is very walker/runner friendly but be careful, because you’ll be distracted by the outstanding homes lining the street! We rented a car and found it helpful for driving to/from the downtown area where there are a variety of shops and restaurants. We would highly recommend checking out Glimmer Cafe for breakfast or a delicious coffee drink (try the cherry pistachio latte!) or making a dinner reservation at Selini, a fantastic Mediterranean restaurant. We would also highly recommend a trip to the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens; a short 20 minute drive from the resort. "

"Was pleasantly surprised by the suite. It had a distinct kitchen, living room, bathroom, and the king bed was a whole bedroom to itself. We only stayed one night but we enjoyed the comfort of the suite and will book again when we need to be down to South Florida. The pool was pleasant too. Not too hot or cold for early April. "

"The staff are very nice and check in was easy. The food at Drift was good. The room was just ok, definitely not anything special, view of a roof and parking lot. Pool was small and filled to the brim with children, it turned a murky color by midday. There is barely any pool service, we never were offered a drink. Leak in our bathroom. Overall it was just ok, we won’t be back. "

"Warning – Be aware of extra fees and some service issues. The staff is generally friendly and helpful, but I experienced a frustrating problem with the dry cleaning service. I was assured it would be picked up and processed, but it was never sent out, which left me short on clothes for the rest of my trip. I ended up having to buy additional clothing. It would have been better if the staff member who promised to handle it had taken responsibility. I informed the hotel that I would not be paying the service fee due to the delay. The gym has a strong mold smell, and I’m quite certain there’s a mold issue there. On the positive side, the room was clean, functional, and perfectly adequate for one person, though quite small. The housekeeping staff were lovely, but they knocked very aggressively on the door (like police) even when the “Do Not Disturb” sign was clearly displayed. The outdoor pool area is usually crowded, but the hotel does have a beach section off Ocean Drive. I didn’t get to use it, but I might if I return. Overall, I’d rate the hotel 7.5/10. "
