"Our room was smelling of paint when we checked in. The airconditioner in our room doesn't work which made it difficult to sleep at night. We were told they were working on it but doing an online seach revealed this is an ongoing issue based on many guest comments to the extent the stopped advertising they have airconditioning, altough some rooms still have airconditioming sign on expedia info pages. "The parking is a misrepresentation, it’s on the street and anyone could mess with your vehicle. Buffet dinner is mediocre, and the promise of a sandy beach is a downright lie. You walk a few blocks to the beach and it is municipal, no lounger or sunshade. You are not allowed to take the pool towels to the beach. The staff definitely need retraining, as they try to bully you around. Loads of hotels closer to beach ….Melia.."
