"Hotel was clean and tidy throughout, as well as the room. All staff were polite and professional. Adequate amount of parking spaces for all guests. Chef prepared food was outstanding."

"Very basic, overall condition/cleanliness just about average. Examples, main door handle loose and very floppy, internal light switch very loose. Nooks and crannies need better attention etc. Bedding was clean and acceptable. Ok for an overnight stay. Quiet area, good views from outside."

"When we arrived expecting to stay in an annex as per the image on Expedia, we were instead in a room in the main house. We took this up with the proprietor who agreed to cancel with no cost. We took this at face value and stayed elsewhere. On checking our bank account on 24 Sept we saw that we had been charged. We called the property but were told we need to take this up with Expedia. Very disappointed."
