We stayed 3 nights to celebrate a special birthday. The staff, hotel and restaurant were first class and went out of their way to make our experience special. We took a taxi to Zermaat from a nearby town and the hotel sent a horse and carriage to collect us. Fantastic facilities in pristine village! The staff were very helpful and attentive, with every of detail of our stay well planned.

The area is the best you will find in central Lugano. There is a funicular next to the hotel taking you directly to Lugano train station. The lake is 200m walk. The service is as good as any hotel I have ever been. The staff and very friendly and helpful. They helped me plan my trip to the two main Lugano mountains. We really enjoined our stay at this property. The personnel is very nice, rooms very clean and conformable and breakfast is great. Just 7 minutes walk to Matterhorn-Express, the hotel is very central but quiet at the same time.

Really lovely hotel with a good spa and nice little bar (serves some tasty cocktails). What made it extra special was the Pradaschier Toboggan pass from the hotel for staying 2+nights. This saved us a lot of money. Down side was the restaurant is closed Mon & Tues evenings and very little choice in the villages for restaurants.

What a wonderful stay here. The staff was the most kind and supportive when we went out to a mountain. I was really surprised when they gave me a snacks and a bottle of water. All the facility was clean and great. Nothing to complain.

This hotel was everything I dreamed. The rooms were stunning, beds comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, amazing view of the Matterhorn from our balcony on the second floor. Pictures do not do this place justice. The garden view is amazing with visibility of lake lugano and the distant mountains. Such a beautiful hotel. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. I loved the breakfast, it's simple but very tasty. I highly recommend this hotel

Lovely location. Very clean and big rooms. Lovely staff. Breakfast was amazing. Loved it.

Stayed in a family room with an awesome view of matterhorn from the balcony. Room was big by swiss standards and the bathroom was also nice with natural light from rooftop. Breakfast is also very good. The spa and swimming pool facility is also superb. Staff was helpful and infact also got my broken bag handle repaired thus saving me the headache of going to town to find a repair shop. Will definitely stay here next time.

Very good value for money, close to the station. A nice modern building, slightly overlooked by nearby buildings but not a big issue. The balcony was relaxing. Excellent soundproofing, good shower pressure, adequate breakfast. Staff were helpful. Highly recommended.

The perfect choice of hotel for skiing in Zermatt! Right in the heart of the main town close to all amenities, ski lifts (walking distance/free bus) & the old town wooden barns which are so picturesque. The entire town is actually! Despite it's location rooms were totally quiet & we had a great view of the Matterhorn too! Well-located, walkable, and near the Zermatt train station. They provide free pick-up and drop-off services, which is wonderful. The room is well-maintained and spotless. Their breakfast options are excellent. Their staff is incredibly helpful and courteous. I got there somewhat early. They gladly finished the check-in procedure. They are always willing to help with navigation, village maps, etc. Around Zermatt, there are several trails to follow.
