"Potts Point is a great area to base yourselves in in Sydney and Spicers is a great "hotel" - actually, that's too impersonal, it feels more like a home away from home. The reception staff are interested and attentive, our room (No.8) was well provisioned and superclean, we were in walking distance of interesting local shops and restaurants, and a short Uber to the CBD. Thoroughly recommend."

"Friendly and helpful staff on our 'down under' trip. Gave us an excellent high toom with views over Sydney Harbour. A little way from the main centre but frequent buses and rail/trams made getting around easy"

"We wanted to stay for our first wedding anniversary and we were expecting a pleasant stay as hotel is well rated. We had originally booked the Essential room which included a king bed. Based on the photos advertised, it looked like the room included a normal bathroom. We were surprised upon check in and was told that they only had an accessible room available for us to stay in. We were reassured that the only difference was that the bathroom had a rail and a curtain but otherwise looks the same...

"Great location and value. Perfect for young couples or solo travellers. It's much better than a hostel, but similar in amenities. Shared bathroom and showers. The bar itself is not too noisy, but the street itself is. Lots of people racing by or yelling in the street can be difficult to sleep. I would stay again. "
