Joy's BnB is very well located in one of the main streets of Ortigia, very clean room and the double windows isolate any street noise so you can rest very well, staff kind, and the breakfast included was good, not just coffee and bread.

This property was perfect! Everything we needed and wanted was nearby. Plus the room itself was spotless and spacious with 2 lovely balconies. Perfect location on Ortigia

We had a great stay in Ortigia at Xenia B&B. It was the perfect place for all of our needs. It was Central to all of the sites, with close, accessible transit. Situated on the main street in Ortigia it was great for walking and safe day and night. The staff at Xenia were very friendly and very helpful and helped make our stay even better. The breakfasts were delicious with many options. Our room was a corner room with lots of light from two balconies. It was comfortable and clean. If you are staying in the Ortigia/Siracusa area we would highly recommend Xenia.

The pictures of this hotel on Expedia do not do it justice. It’s on the second floor of a historic building and the rooms are beautiful. The balconies to sit in the shade in a warm day are amazing. The breakfast was the best I’ve had possibly ever! Staff were very quick to communicate and very friendly. We spent 10 nights here to use as a base for exploration and could have spent another 10. Highly recommend. 11/10

This property was centrally located and super convenient for exploring Ortigia and Syracuse. It is located on the major street in Ortigia with shopping, restaurants and many of the major sites in Ortigia within easy walking distance. It's also a short walk to cross over into Syracuse. That being said, the noise outside can easily penetrate into the room. The rooms are part of large apartments located in a building. There are several other BnBs in the building as well. Currently, the building is having some kind of renovation going on inside. The rooms have a small balcony that is shared across all of the rooms so you need lock up the window/doors whenever you leave. It's nice to observe people walking by but noisy. The room itself is small but about average for what we experienced in Sicily. The bathroom is also pretty small and the toilet area was way to small requiring even a short woman like myself to sit kind of sideways on the seat. The dining room is quite nice, the breakfast options were pretty expansive. Breakfast consisted of various tea, coffee, bottled juices, fresh squeezed orange juice, and granita; various pastries and cold cereal, bread, cheeses and deli meats, and boiled eggs. One day there was bacon. They were very accommodating for my dietary restrictions and helped me identify restaurants where I could find gluten free options. The staff were all fantastic: kind, communicative, accommodating, and super helpful!
